Tracy Alan Davidson Is the younger son of Lewis and Evalene Davidson. He grew up working and attending church in the Church of God and Holiness church. He knew at an early age that God had a plan for his life. In his early twenties, the Lord confirmed this by calling him into the ministry.
After many years of evangelizing in homes, street corners, jails, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and in churches of all denominations, the Lord opened a door to plant a new church in his community.
With a burden to see souls saved and lives changed, he trusted the Lord to lead the way as he and a few others stepped out in faith and accepted God’s call to build this new church. In March of 2002, New Life Fellowship was born, and from scratch God raised up a new church in lower Alto, Georgia just inside Banks County.
Pastor Davidson loves the Lord with all his heart. His preaching style delves deep into God’s Word, yet at the same time maintains simplicity. He is an extraordinary teacher and preacher who is committed to the Word of God using unique and often humorous real life illustrations to make the Word applicable to our everyday lives. His preaching and teaching also challenges believers to produce life-changing results. His favorite scripture is Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose”
On a personal note, Pastor Davidson attended Gainesville College and Liberty University. He holds degrees in Psychology and Christian Counseling. He also has written two books. While he values his education and finds it beneficial in many ways, he holds firm that Jesus must be the foundation of any ministry and is most thankful for the anointing that God has placed on his life to fulfill this calling. Zechariah 4:6…Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
Pastor Davidson is a devoted father of three beautiful children: Bridget, Cassidy, and Logan Davidson. He says, “my children are a great blessing from God, and keep me on my toes. They make everyday life fun and very interesting, and I love them with all my heart.”
Aside from ministry, Pastor Davidson, with his family, owns and operates their family Wood Products business. For over twenty years, they have supplied North Georgia and the surrounding area with custom built pallets, crates, and various wooden furniture.
